Following the incredible success of AVI-8’s partnership with the Royal British Legion in 2021, AVI-8 is honoured to announce the release of a second unique collaboration timepiece. Since 2021, AVI-8 has raised over £33,000 for the Royal British Legion through the sales of bespoke AVI-8 timepieces.
The Flyboy Royal British Legion Falklands 40 Meca-Quartz Limited Edition has been designed as a tribute to the brave and courageous men and women who served during the Falklands Conflict 40 years ago. Stamped at the 6 o’clock position are the coordinates of the Falkland Islands and completing the dial is the iconic two petal poppy on the seconds hand, a widely recognised symbol of remembrance.
The watch is being produced in line with Remembrance Sunday, a period each year where the Royal British Legion lead the nation in commemorating and honouring those who have served and sacrificed. The Flyboy Royal British Legion Falklands 40 Meca-Quartz Limited Edition is limited to 1,500 pieces, and with each watch sold, AVI-8 will contribute £10 to the charity in support those who serve and have served in the British Armed Forces, and their families.
Available at AVI-8.co.uk, £190.
“We are delighted that AVI-8 is launching this next timepiece with has been created with the highest attention to detail and has features inspired by military and aviation design. These classic references pay tribute to military aircrew and are a poignant reminder of those who have served and sacrificed.”
